In 2019 Good Sense Dogs partnered with Joshua's House hospice for the homeless to provide care, training, and re-homing for the pets of the homeless entering end-of-life hospice care.

Global Giving Campaign
We have great news! Good Sense Dogs has been accepted by Global Giving, the largest global crowdfunding community connecting nonprofits, donors, and companies in nearly every country. You can help us raise funds for our Joshua's House partnership for the adoption of pets that were relinquished by the homeless in hospice care, as well as teaching the vocational skill of dog training and care to under-served and at risk groups.

Ahead With Tails
Ahead with Tails is the education aspect of our nonprofit. We educate at risk or under-served populations and groups in proper animal care and handling, as well as vocational skills. Often these groups have had little exposure to proper animal care skills. We give them those tools as well as provide animals to hold and handle who act as therapy pets.
Our comprehensive and easy to understand curriculum covers not just dog care and handling but rather all animals, and includes guest speakers and potential access to volunteer opportunities. Thanks to the Sundt Foundation and donations from the community for making this program possible.
